Apple updated GarageBand to version 10 way back in 2013, yet the previous version of our favourite digital audio workstation was so fully featured and stable that many users are still using it to this day.
Having said that, the many extra features, free sounds and added functionality that Apple have added to GarageBand 10 since launch make it the definitive version for most folks.
