How To Fix Minecraft Launcher Installer Not Working
While Minecraft is playable on just about anything, some people certainly have their preferences for playing the game on PC, where you can access both Bedrock and Java editions of the game. However, you need to get it first. the games on your hard drive before you can play them. If you’re having trouble getting the Minecraft Launcher installer to work, here are some suggestions to fix it.
Log out and check the date, time and region
If you’re having trouble installing the Minecraft launcher, we recommend that you first restart your PC and sign out, then sign in to the Microsoft Store or Xbox apps again, depending on what you are using to access the launcher. Now that all versions of Minecraft are on Game Pass, you can try installing the launcher through this app. To log out, simply click on your profile icon at the top right of the window, then click Log Out.
Also, make sure your time zone and date are displayed correctly on your PC. If not, right click on the date and time at the bottom right of your screen and choose Adjust Date / Time. Make sure Set time automatically and Set time zone automatically are turned on. Under Sync your clock, tap Sync now. Before exiting the settings, click Region on the left side of the screen and make sure you have selected the correct region you are in.
Troubleshoot Windows Store and Update Windows
Open Settings and go to Update & security. Click the Troubleshoot section, then click Additional Troubleshooters. Scroll down and choose Windows Store Apps. Follow the process here and then reset your PC.
If you haven’t updated your Windows in a while, open Settings and go to Update & Security. Under Windows Update, click Check for update.
If the troubleshooting did not work, we recommend that you reset the store. Click on your search bar next to the Start button and type wsreset. Click on the Run command entry and a black box will appear. Don’t do anything until the box disappears and the store reopens.
Then open Settings and click on Apps. In the search bar, search for Microsoft Store. Click on it, then choose Advanced options. Scroll down and choose Reset. You will need to reconnect.
